‘Anupamaa’ Written Update: Anupama Stands by Prem as the Kotharis Turn Against Him

Shruti immediately jumps to Prem's defence and questions why the entire family has turned against him. However, Vasundhara sharply intervenes, saying that if anyone deserves to be blamed, it is Shruti. She holds Shruti responsible for influencing Prem in the wrong direction and even calls her the worst mother. At the same time, Vasundhara asks Khyati not to drag Rahi into the matter and instead direct her anger towards Prem. Every time Prem tries to explain himself, Vasundhara refuses to let him speak.

Watching the family argument unfold, Gautam quietly enjoys the chaos. He begins connecting recent events and realises that Vasundhara has her own plans regarding Anupama's café. He recalls how she had scolded him after the gas leak incident and later defended Shruti during Prem's café launch, only to suddenly turn against her now.

Back at the Shah house, Digvijay brings tea for Anupama and encourages her to stay strong. Fighting back tears, Anupama tells him that Prem once cared for her deeply, which is why she cannot understand his drastic transformation. At the Kothari house, Prem attempts to justify his actions, saying he is exhausted from constantly living in Anupama's shadow. Although he decides to return the stolen diary, Khyati reminds him that apologising afterward does not erase the mistake, comparing it to the negligence that led to the gas leak at his café. Her words leave Prem speechless.

Digvijay advises Anupama to stop showering unconditional love on people who repeatedly hurt her. Reflecting on Lord Krishna's teachings, he reminds her that even family members sometimes stand on opposite sides when principles are at stake. Since Prem has openly challenged her, Digvijay believes she must stop treating him with blind affection.

Consumed by anger and frustration, Prem declares that he will emerge victorious no matter what. He tells the Kotharis that if they see him as a criminal because of the stolen diary, they are free to leave him. His temper worsens as he lashes out even at Rahi, leaving everyone stunned. Gautam watches with satisfaction, while Vasundhara grows increasingly worried about Prem's behaviour.

Digvijay once again urges Anupama to respond firmly instead of continuing to bless someone who is constantly humiliating her. At the same time, Rahi confronts Prem and questions whether he destroyed the competition form. Irritated, Prem asks if she too has come to judge him and bluntly tells her to leave if she cannot support him, insisting that he has no patience left for emotional drama.

The episode concludes with Anupama making an important decision. She tells Digvijay that she is prepared to fight, but before doing so, she wants to meet Prem. Rather than giving up on him, Anupama vows to fight for the goodness that still exists within him, believing that the man she once knew has simply lost his way and can still find his path back.
